To perform actions in this article, your account must have the appropriate level of access. Currently, those with a "Monitor" role are not allowed to download documents. If you do not believe you have the right level of access or have questions, contact your account administrator or Support for help.
In order for SourceDrive to load quickly in the web browser, and to protect patient data in cases where the document has been redacted, when you see a document in SourceDrive you are looking at an image of the original document. However, we always also store the original document safely as well and it can be downloaded in its original form. this means for example if you uploaded a fillable PDF, it will still be a fillable PDF. Word documents will download back out as the original Word document, and Excel documents as Excel documents, etc.
To download the most recent version of a document from SourceDrive:
- Navigate to the document you'd like to download.
- Click the download icon next to the version's effective or upload date. The download should begin immediately. If you have any trouble, please contact Support.
To download an older version of a document from SourceDrive:
When you open a document, you are automatically on the most recently uploaded version of that document. If you would like to download an older version:
- Select the older version before downloading, as shown below or described in the Help Center article, "Adding a New Version of a Document or Accessing a Previous Version".
- Then follow the steps above.
